Absent

In human geo yesterday, I was absent, so I don't really know what the class did. I was absent yesterday because I am in New York. New York is a really fun place and I am so happy I got to go here. I'm exhausted because of the ride here, but im having a good time here. Even though im in new York now, I will be at school on Monday, but ill probably be really tired since we are getting home very late on sunday. I hope the class had fun on Friday and on Tuesday ill be back again since we don't have class Monday.

Emmy

Today in human geo, I got to hold an emmy award. Mr. Schick got to see it for the day, so we all got to hold it and take pictures with it. We also saw this weird music video, but it was also cool. It had tv stations and you could change the channel, but its really hard to explain. It was pretty amazing how they could do that kind of technology to the music video. The only other thing we did today was playing some game that mr schick made us play. Human geo today was really fun and I am sad I will miss human geo tomorrow.

Tests back

Today in human geo, we didn't do much at all, even though it was a long class. All we did was get our tests back. We also went over all the right answers for the exam.Mr. Schick also had a serious talk about all our grades on the test and asked what he could do to make the class any easier. I hope we have another test before thanksgiving break so I can bring my grade up fast. I really am hoping midquarters wont be that bad and I can get my grade up so I can be a little more proud of myself. The only other thing that happened in class today, was that some people were taking the test from those who were absent. Human geo today was pretty depressing, but I hope that I am more happy with myself by the end of the midquarter or quarter.

Test and reading

Today in human geo, Mr. Schick let anyone who didn’t finish the test, finish it. I was one of those people, but it didn’t take me that long to finish it. Then we looked on his blog at a link to something we had to read. There was also a video that we had to watch too. My laptop died before class started so I wasn’t able to do that. In human geo today, I was really tired, so I wasn’t as successful as I could be.

Review

Today in human geo, we got told about our test tomorrow. Currently, I am studying really hard and I hope to get an A on this test. Other than that, We went back over the power point so we could have some last minute notes for the test. I think this test should be pretty easy since im studying really hard and going over Mr. Schick's power point. Today we didn't really do much, but we got to have a review before we take the test.

Notetaking

Today in human geography we didn't really do much which was a little boring to me. All we did was take a lot of notes from a power point on leaders which is in another blog post. These notes will probably be on a test which will probably also be very soon. We also had Jasmine come up and teach the class for a little while and have her ask some questions to the class. Jasmine is a really good "teacher" so she gets to teach a lot in class. I think today's human geo class was a little boring, but I hope tomorrow we wont have to take a lot of notes like today.

Power point

Today in human geo, we took a lot of notes and had a one hour late bell. We also got our retake tests back and we went over the questions.  We got all the answers for the exams and that took up about half the class. Then, after that, we took notes on a power point that will probably be another study guide for another quiz. The power point was about leaders all over the country. The blog before this were the notes I took. We didn't have to write everything down, but I wrote most stuff to make sure that I was getting enough information. This class was pretty short today, but we had a lot of work to do in the time of the class.

Test

Today in human geography, I retook a test. Mr Schick, my mom told me about reretaking the test and I really appreciate you letting me. I would like to retake it on Monday during a free mod if that's possible. We also were working on a project. I came in late after retaking the test so I didn't understand very much about it. I feel that I do need to work more on the tests and study more probably. Overall, today was an okay class and I hope I can bring my grade up so I can have a good human geo grade on the next quarter.

Video

Today in human geography, we finally changed seats in class, even though I really liked my seat. I was really sad I got moved up to the front and center of the class, because I feel so isolated now. We also went over the political power point and finished the video we started yesterday. I think that everybody was not very entertained with the video because the guy speaking was really boring. After that video, we had another video to watch which was a cartoon that spoke really fast and couldn't understand a word it was saying. After we finished that power point, the bell rang. Todays human geo class was very interesting and I hope I do well on my retake test tomorrow.

Test and Power point

Today in human geography we took a retake test. I was not here on Friday, so I didn't know what the test was like at all. The test seemed easy, but when I got the test back, the grade wasn't so good. Mr. Schick told the people that were absent on Friday that they could retake it id they didn't do that good. I was happy he said that because I didn't want my grade to bump down any further. After we did all that, we took notes on a political power point. at the end of the slideshow, there was a video about this man showing us political stuff and he thought he was funny, when really he wasn't. We didn't get into the whole video, so that's what I'm assuming we will do tomorrow.
